No whites ... No sodas ... Still going!

The omission of whites and sodas from my diet, with a weekly regimen of moderate exercise (jogging, walking, etc.) has continued to work well for me.

I have been able to cut 14 pounds from my starting weight, and have managed to keep it off, I feel, due to diet. I haven't been perfect, either. I have cheated weekly! Sometimes a lil' cheat, and sometimes a full-out fried-o-rama! ;(

But, because of the way I feel (much more energy) and the nice comments I've been getting, the cheating is becoming few and far between.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I can get through the Fall and Winter months as well as I did this summer.

We shall see ... ;)

No whites ... No sodas ... NO BEER!

Talk about a kick in the nuts! :(

This latest regimen has been much easier to deal with than the extreme X-style workouts, but, it does come at a steep price! NO BEER!

At least for 90 days ... then, I can go with the Ultra ... or Light ... depending on how much I can maximize my workout.

Diet is going better than OK ... lot easier to cut out the whites and sugars than I thought.

Only lost 7 pounds in 5 weeks ... hoping for more as the heat of the summer has arrived!

It's just not working out ...

Although the beginning was balls to the wall, the excitement and pain have subsided, and my P90X workout is now nonexistent.

Busy, busy times now ... tee-ball, work, Staff Infection, kids, parents, friends ... it's all so exhausting.

If you guys have any tips on staying motivated and making time for this, I'm all ears. I want to see this through, but dang ...

I'm just sayin' ...

Superbowl Weekend: WhoDat gonna follow Dat Diet!?

This is the hardest weekend to try and follow this @#$^%$#$#% diet in P90X. All sorts of good food ... it's hard to resist.

I think I'm going to have to work twice per day for a couple days, maybe a week, to burn this junk off.

I pledge to work my arse off, since I'll be flyin' high from the Saints win on Sunday!

WhoDat!??!

Two miles on Elliptical

Week one of the workout regimen has begun ...

The diet has been kickin' my ass for a good two weeks now, and it's hard not to cheat because of hunger and the massive sweet tooth I have! But, it's going OK ...

Pushed out two miles on the elliptical machine this morning ... the first 10 minutes are killer ... the burn is crazy! But, as soon as the burn was gone, it was OK ... maintained about 6 m.p.h. the entire time ... (Am I the only one, but is the cool-down period difficult after exercising so hard!?!?)

Supplementing my breakfast with a Whey Shake with 2% milk, 8 ounces. Lots of greens and lean, white meat (fish, pork, chicken) at lunch, grilled, NEVER fried! Dinner is all about portion control ... one plate ONLY! LOL!
